So oft ist die exakte Dokumentation einer Szene in meiner Empfindung nicht in der Lage, die Wahrnehmung des Moments, die Fülle der Faszinations-Quanten in einen zweidimensionalen Rahmen zu pressen. Wie befreit man das Licht und die Farben? Wie gibt man dem Tanz der Formen und Leerräume seine Bühne zurück? Ein Versuch…

In my opinion, so very often an exact documentation of a scene isn’t able to capture the perception of a moment, to combine the richness of sparks of fascination into a two dimensional frame. How to liberate light and colors? How to bring the dance of forms and voids back to the stage? An attempt…

Wenn das Sonnenlicht sich in den frühen Septembertagen mit einem warmen Seufzen der nahenden Nacht ergibt, dann taucht es die Bäume oberhalb der Aare in ein magisches Licht.
(Kontrollierte Bewegung der Kamera während der Aufnahme. Malen mit Licht, eine Annäherung an die kraftvollen Lichtbilder der impressionistischen Meister. Die Bildschirmgrösse zeigt nicht die filigranen Linien und Farben. Siehe diesen vergrösserten Ausschnitt)

When in the early september days the sunlight, with a warm sigh, gives way to the approaching night, then the trees above the river Aare are lit in a most marvelous way.
