The wedding

Ein Kinderfest an einem Regentag. Es lärmt und wuselt, es lacht und knallt. Kinderaugen leuchten und funkeln, nur die erwachsenen Gesichter passen sich der grauen Himmelsdecke an und wirken bedeckt. Irgendwann schweift mein Blick nach oben, da wo die Regenplanen das “Unheil” einzudämmen versuchen. Und da findet sie ganz leise statt, die Hochzeit. Aus der Plane wird ein wunderschöner Schleier für den Baum…
Ich merke mir: auch bei Regentagen sollte ich den Blick hin und wieder gen Himmel richten…
A kids party on a rainy day. It rustles and bustles, it laughs and pops. Children’s eyes shine and sparkle, only the adult faces adapt to the gray sky and seem to get dull. Eventually I gaze upwards, where the rain tarp tries to contain the “mischief”. And there the wedding takes place, very quietly. The tarp turns into a beautiful wedding veil for the tree …
Note to self: even on rainy days, I shall lift the eyes from the ground and gaze into the skies…

Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero

Ich nehme mit heute fünf Minuten Zeit hin zu sitzen und einfach nur zu sein. Dann fällt mir
nämlich wieder ein, dass das jederzeit die letzten fünf Minuten sein könnten. Ich denke an meine Liebsten und
küsse den Moment und tue das, was meinem Herzen am nächsten ist.
“Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero”.
I’ll take five minutes today to sit down and just be. That helps me remember clearly, that at any time, these could be the last five minutes. I think of my loved ones and kiss the moment and do whatever is closest to my heart.

Anschliessend an den Ausflug in die reine Lust des Sehens, stieg ich diesmal in den
Fluss des Bewusstseins ein und erfreute mich ob den Fetzen an Wahrheiten die da auf- und
untertauchten…
