Welche Bilder entstehen in deinem Kopf, wenn du an ein altes, einsames Gewächshaus denkst? Ich hatte das Vergnügen, während vier Tagen in der Nähe eines solchen Gartenhauses eine Planungssitzung für die Zukunft der Fotografie-Lernplattform The Good Eye abhalten zu können. In der Freizeit widmeten wir uns fotografisch dem Gartenhaus und der Umgebung. Ich nenne dies “den Rohdiamanten begegnen”. Ungeschliffen liegen sie da, bis jemand ihnen ohne Vorurteile begegnet – und dann beginnen sie zu funkeln und glänzen.
What pictures appear in your head, if you think “old, lonely greenhouse”? I had the pleasure to hold a working session with colleagues from the photography learning platform The Good Eye in the vicinity of such a greenhouse. In the spare time, we often took our cameras and get up close and personal to the greenhouse and surroundings. I call that “encounter the raw diamonds”. Bluntly and raw they lie there, until someone with no prejudices find them – and then they start to sparkle and shine.
