Am nächsten Donnerstag, 8. September 2011, findet in der Buchhandlung Haupt in Bern eine Buchvernissage mit Apéro und einer Multimedia-Präsentation statt. Auch du bist herzlich eingeladen. Eintritt frei! Hier möchte ich dir nur einen kleinen visuellen Vorgeschmack bieten. Ich freue mich auf deinen Besuch!

Sliding lands | Rutschland

Ein Blick auf eine meiner Lieblingsgegenden: Rutschland!

A view of one of my preferred landscapes: “Sliding lands”!

Wo befindet sich diese Landschaft? Rutschland… das liegt in einer Welt deren Eingang gleich neben meinem Haus zu finden ist. Ich besuche dieses Land des öftern mit meinem Sohn Theo. Mit etwas kindlichem Schalk im Herzen wird die glänzende Oberfläche der Rutschbahn auf dem Spielplatz zum Eingang in eine stets neue Welt. Für die meisten anderen sieht der Eingang zu Rutschland etwa so aus: einfach nur eine Rutschbahn von oben gesehen.

Where can this landscape be found? “Sliding lands” … lies in a world whose entrance can be found just next to my house. I frequently visit this country with my son Theo. With a bit of childish mischief in the heart, the shiny surface of the slide at the playground becomes the entrance to this ever changing world. For most others, the entrance to “Sliding lands” looks like this: simply and only a slide seen from above.

Begegnung der primordialen Art. Wasser, Licht, Farben und Leben.
Langzeitbelichtung am Rheinfall. Während alle Welt dort nach oben guckt um das “Wunder” zu bestaunen, sah ich das Wunder direkt vor unseren Füssen.

Long time exposure at the Rheinfall (Switzerland). While all the tourists there looked up to see the wonder of the Rheinfall, I looked down and saw the wonder right in front of our feet.

Der Tanz der Elfen. Grazil, selbstvergessen, Form gänzlich aufgelöst und nur noch Bewegung. Lass dich von einer Elfe entführen und von ihrem Schwung beschleunigen, lass dich wirbeln und gleiten und lasse dich von der nächsten Elfe auffangen und in ihren Tanz einbinden. Möge dir dieser endlose Tanz frische Energie für den Tag schenken.

Enter the world of an elf and let the speed of her swing take you on a ride, glide and whirl and be embraced by the next fairy and let her integrate you into her dance. May this endless dance bring you fresh energy for the day.
