Elementare Schönheit. Tief in der Natur der Dinge steckt etwas, das sich als schwer zu beschreibende Schönheit zeigt. Etwas, dessen Wert und Qualität sich dem oberflächlichen Sehen entzieht. Vielleicht am ehesten das, was der Kleine Prinz von Antoine de Saint-Exupery meinte als er sagte: “Man sieht nur mit dem Herzen gut”. Schönheit die vor allem dann wirkt, wenn man sich die Zeit nimmt ihren vielen Bahnen und Details zu folgen, sich darin zu vertiefen. Und doch, diese Schönheit ist Elementar: sie steckt in allen Dingen.

Elementary beauty. Deep in the nature of things is something that shows itself as a beauty hard to describe. Something whose value and quality goes undetected by the superficial look. Perhaps this comes close to what the Little Prince (by Antoine de Saint-Exupery) said: “One sees clearly only with the heart.” Beauty which is especially effective when you take the time to follow and delve into its many tracks and details. And yet, this beauty is elementary: it is in all things.
