  1. To me, the salt within the cracks of his hands, tells the story…

And when the salt is gently removed and slowly poured into a small glass — there becomes a pull of attraction between the negative and positive sides of the ocean waters.

The water’s pull is stronger than the bond holding the salt together, so the salt crystal falls apart piece by piece. Every single separated salt piece goes wrapped in a shield of water molecules so they cannot stick back together. Although, the physical change of the salt is still there, just spread out. When the water dries up (evaporates) the water goes into the air and is joined back together in the form of solid salt crystals.

Therefore changing the dynamics but not the underlying beauty and depth of the connection.

Beyond time and space this connection will always be nestled in one of the pockets of his heart to go back to relive and relish in moments of longing.
    It just changes form.✨

    1. Dear Terry. I shall keep the metaphor of salt crystals and their transformation close to my heart. It is a very comforting way to visualize how bonds may break, but the force that holds them together is never lost, just transformed for a moment in time. Thank you kindly and from the bottom of my heart.
