So Geschieht Mir Nichts!
Dialog auf der Türschwelle

Schau hoch zu mir.
Ich sehe dich, Himmel.
Darum bleibe ich ja hier.
Hinter Glas.
Ja.
Du sagst das, als wäre es nichts.
Nein.
Es ist alles.
Ich traue dir nicht.
Das musst du nicht.
Die Stimme im Haus schwieg.
Draussen zog die Nacht über das Dach.
Ein dunkles Gewand, das die Laute verschluckt.
Und weit oben öffnen sich die Wolken:
Licht kommt zur Welt.
Ich sehe es.
Willst du mich damit hinauslocken?
Nein.
Was dann?
Dich erinnern.
Woran?
Dass dies auch wahr ist.
Das Licht?
Ja, das Licht.
Die Dunkelheit?
Auch die Dunkelheit.
Und was davon bleibt?
Still lag die Frage zwischen Haus und Himmel.
Nichts.
Nichts bleibt so.
Genau davor habe ich Angst.
Drinnen bin ich sicher.
Hier geschieht mir nichts.
Doch.
Hier …
Hier geschieht mir … nichts …
Und draussen?
Alles.
Auch Verlust.
Ja.
Immer wieder.
Die Stimme trat näher ans Fenster.
Und Licht?
Auch.
Ohne Verlust?
Nein.
Warum nicht?
Weil nur vergeht,
was einmal da war.
Und irgendwann auch ich?
Während die Frage blieb,
verwandelten sich über dem Haus
Licht und Dunkelheit ineinander.
Lange blieb die Stimme am Fenster.
Dann öffnete sie die Tür.

This Way, Nothing Happens to Me!
A Dialogue on the Threshold
Look up at me.
I see you, sky.
That’s why I stay here.
Behind glass.
In the warmth.
Where things have their place
and night stays outside.
I know you.
No.
I do! I know you.
I know your darkness.
Know your light—how it comes and grows and gathers warmth,
until one begins to live inside it,
until one believes
it might stay.
And then—
then you take it away.
Yes.
You say that as if it were nothing.
No.
It is everything.
I don’t trust you.
You don’t have to.
The voice in the house fell silent.
Outside, night moved over the roof.
A dark cloth swallowing sound.
And high above, the clouds part:
light comes into the world.
I see it.
Are you trying to lure me out with that?
No.
Then what?
To remind you.
Of what?
That this, too, is true.
The light?
Yes, the light.
The darkness?
The darkness, too.
And what stays?
The question lay silent between house and sky.
Nothing.
Nothing stays as it is.
That’s exactly what I’m afraid of.
Inside, I’m safe.
Nothing happens to me here.
It does.
Here …
Here, nothing happens to me …
And out there?
Everything.
Loss, too.
Yes.
Again and again.
The voice stepped closer to the window.
And light?
That too.
Without loss?
No.
Why not?
Because only what comes to be
can pass away.
And one day, me too?
While the question remained,
above the house
light and darkness passed into one another.
For a long time, the voice stayed at the window.
Then she opened the door.

I am Intrigued by this piece, Roland.
Fear works hard at keeping us in its cage by making us feel safe and keeping everything in its place, so nothing changes and disrupts the stagnant safety.
Little does it know though, that we have the key to that cage, in a place Fear cannot enter.
Our hearts.
The opposite of fear (False Evidence Appearing Real) is;
Freedom.
To grow, expand, explore new venues of what brings our souls, joy, passion,
hope, peace and love to experience as never before…although, some have had the opportunity to taste these unique loves, but when Fear is allowed to rule the outcome…this love dissolves away.
I have learned, through experience that new loves and renewed ones will step back on our path again and again to ask if we are ready to explore what becomes to be before it passes and dissolves away. As the sky has reminded us…
Nothing stays as is and Everything passes…Over the years, I have grown and changed from these words in a wonderful, freeing way and the world now moves with me, not the other way around.
Thank you for sharing your conversation, my dear friend ~ I quietly smile in gratitude for you.🫶 Terry
