A long way from home

The sun settled on the horizon, becoming more and more of a irrestible magnet that pulled me right into the depth of the endless scenery. Thoughts stumbled and tumbled, like tumble weeds right towards the heart warming glow. This is where home is. This is where I am expected to arrive.

PS: this is a plain photograph of a copper plate in the evening sun. Colors and contrasts accentuated and the crop was geometrically transformed. But basically, the “story” was already there, right in front of my eyes.

  1. This is beautiful. It reminds me of a warm sunset over a coast filled with rocks jutting out of the water (much like where I am spending my holiday right now). Thanks for sharing.

    1. Thank you so much, April. I am a lazy guy so I need the nature to do the job and just take photographs. I wouldn’t want to work for hours with textures to get, what nature can achieve so eloquently. 🙂
