I am glad to hear that you have replaced smoking with a more inspiring routine. Taking pictures is indeed a good way to appreciate simple things around you and makes people stop for a moment, stare and realize its goodness.

🙂 Funny or tragical that it’s much more difficult to convince people that I have to go and get photographs than convince them that I have to go and get some nicotine. 🙂

I also used to smoke, and had not considered… I can also use my camera as an excuse for the same quiet time, and private time, in the midst of such events! It is always with me, as was the pack of cigarettes for similar reasons. 🙂

Danke dir, Ingrid. Ja, Fotografieren ist für mich vor allem auch sehen lernen, Glaubenssätze überwinden, wieder wie ein Kind staunen lernen. Die Welt wirkt dann so viel reichhaltiger!

Das ist natürlich eine wunderbare Sache … irgendwohin gehen müssen, das dann aber mit offenen Augen tun und nach interessanten Objekten Ausschau halten. Wie wunderschön dieses Spiel von Licht und Schatten auf der Holztreppe ist. Sehr grafisch und auch wieder nicht, denn die Wärme des Holzes ist noch sehr präsent.
