The inversion of reality

Reality inversion

“In order to understand how meaning comes into the head, i.e. how a thought arises, we must realize that the brain does not exist on its own, but always only as a component of an organism that interacts with its environment and must constantly ensure that it does not lose its sustainable contact with the inner milieu and external reality.

Exciting when you invert reality and observe what the brain then does with the “new” reality. François Schuiten and his “Les Cités Obscures” came to my mind in view of the scene on the beach at Zandvoort (Holland). Don’t you know? It is worth getting to know…

All scenes are, you guessed it, reflections in the shallow, wet sand.
